The Beginning
Built around a simple idea.
Waypoint Mercantile Co. was built around a simple idea: some of the most meaningful parts of life aren't the final destinations. They're the places, people, and moments we encounter along the way.
We call those moments waypoints.
A quiet morning. A familiar backroad. A trail through your hometown. The first cup of coffee before the day begins. Small moments have a way of becoming part of our story.
That's the inspiration behind what we create and choose.
Inside the bush lab
Cold-process. Small batch. No shortcuts.
Thoughtful formulation
Our handmade soaps begin with carefully selected oils, butters, fragrances, and ingredients. Each formulation is developed with purpose, from its character to its finished appearance.
Cold-process method
In our Bush Lab, we make soap using the traditional cold-process method, giving each batch individual attention from mixing through cutting.
Patience in the cure
Our handmade cold-process bars undergo a planned 10–12-week cure before being considered for release. We believe patience is an essential part of our process.
Tested before it ships
We evaluate our handmade creations and personally test our curated selections before deciding which products earn a place at Waypoint.

Nothing here was rushed to market. Every product is developed with intention — formulated, tested, and refined until it's genuinely ready. Purpose over speed, always.
Honest Ingredients. Clear Standards
We believe you should know what’s in the bar you’re using. Whether crafted in our own workshop or sourced from a trusted soap maker, every bar has to meet our standards. Sourced soaps are personally evaluated — including actual shower use — before we decide whether they belong at Waypoint. Ingredients are clearly disclosed, and every bar is chosen with purpose.

We believe smaller batches allow for better attention to quality. Whether crafted in our own workshop or carefully sourced from a trusted soap maker, we choose quality over quantity and products we’re comfortable standing behind.
